A young woman came into my study pale and in obvious pain. She had lost weight and her manner was subdued. She told me how her husband had been unfaithful to her. Now, he felt remorse and wanted to be forgiven and accepted back. She readily acknowledged that her love for him was still alive. She had two choices -- termination of the marriage or forgiveness. She chose the latter. Like so many who have walked the same road, she found forgiveness a difficult way. But, no other good alternative to forgiving love is available in human relationships.
