Malcolm Forbes was a very wealthy magazine publisher. He was a collector of many fine things including Faberge eggs. He loved to show off his collection to whomever had interest. When he took the eggs out of his office safe, there were 20 security guards in the room.

Forbes has a Japanese business friend who loved to see his collections. He came often and examined the fine art carefully for hours at a time. The executive brought his friends and family to see the Forbes collection.
