A man owned a house...
Illustration
A man owned a house which he rented for income. He needed the income in order to meet his expenses. But for some time he did not have a tenant. The vacancy was causing him not only to lose rent money, but also added to his burden of responsibilities. He had to mow the lawn in the summer, rake leaves in autumn, and shovel snow in winter. The longer the house stood empty, the more he lamented the lack of a tenant. When someone finally came along who wanted to move into the vacant home, the owner was overjoyed. A book has been written with the title The Hollow Man.
