Many Olympic athletes appear only in one Olympics before their young but aging bodies give way to a new crop of up-and-coming athletes. But occasionally, in skating or track, the same athlete who wins a medal in one Olympics will spend the next four years training so that s/he may compete in another Olympics. Their "glory" has appeared once to the world; yet, with our most beloved athletes, we yearn to see them demonstrate their great talents again. In between their appearances, the days are filled with training, exercise, practice and grueling self-discipline.
