A minister of a large church in California firmly believes in being prepared for the second coming of Christ. It is reported that he was concerned about the vast amount of property held by the church, fearing that when the rapture takes place the remaining (unraptured) members would not be able to continue the church. Thus, members were urged to revise their wills and insurance policies, naming the church as beneficiary, and plans were made with an insurance company to determine how future claims could be paid without waiting the usual seven-year period usually required for missing persons.
