Ministers in that part of the state tell the story of the Onion Creek Church. That congregation has never had a minister they liked. In fact, the last nine have been forced to resign, fired or died from job stress. When not chewing a pastor to little bits, they are fighting with one another. About the only thing on which the folks at Onion Creek agree is the wayward ways of their denominations. They almost always find a way to stir a controversy at the Area of Regional Assembly.
