The movie Apollo 13 tells the riveting story behind perhaps the second most famous quote in the history of the U.S. space program -- "Houston, we have a problem."
Astronauts Jim Lovell, Fred Haise, and Jack Swigert were on a "routine" space flight when they experienced some serious mechanical problems with their spacecraft. The only thing that saved them was their faith in their colleagues at Mission Control -- Ken Mattingly and Gene Kranz -- who worked non-stop to find a way to creatively fix the problem. Without faith and confidence in their friends, Lovell, Haise, and Swigert might have panicked and died in space. But their faith enabled them to stay calm and solve their problem. Their faith made them well and they were healed of their trouble.
