Mr. B. E. Hutchinson was for some years the vice president of finance and general treasurer of the Chrysler Corporation. He was an active churchman and sometimes made his airplane available to the clergy for special trips. On one such excursion, Mr. Hutchinson chose to come along with us in his company plane. We had an appointment in New York City with Norman Vincent Peale, one of America's outstanding and best known leaders of that time. Our conversations with Dr. Peale became our self examination as to our sense of values.
