Nothing moves Paul so deeply as the knowledge that his Lord suffered a painful, humiliating death. It was for his sake and all other human children of the Heavenly Father. In his own sufferings, Paul identifies with his Lord. He rejoices that he bears in his body the marks of Jesus.
