One of the worst experiences in life is the awareness that you have failed. When the failure involves broken human relationships which can not be reconciled due to death, the grief and guilt can be crushing. At the reading of a father's will, the youngest son discovered that his father had changed his will. The father had been upset with his son and his son's wife, but had never shared it with them. With tears flowing down his face, the young man wept bitterly, not for the lack of an inheritance, but because the chance for reconciliation was gone.
