The only thing worse then not getting what you want is getting it.
A pastor made a follow-up call on a woman in the hospital. She was evidently much improved.
"Why such improved morale?"
"Someone held my hand." The pastor took this to be a reference to his prior visit.
"Now you feel that when you are low again someone else will hold your hand?"
"No! I'll be able to hold someone else's hand."
