Only two to three percent...

Only two to three percent of new members walk into a church on their own. Only one to two percent come because a pastor visits. But 75 to 90 percent worship because a friend, neighbor, or relative has invited them, write Winn and Charles Arn in The Master's Plan for Making Disciples. It's estimated there are fifteen to eighteen million adults in our country, double the population of Holland, who never ever, not even once, have been invited to church, but who say they would go if someone just cared enough to ask.
