Paul's ability to accept whatever life brought to him, can be achieved by anyone. It is a matter of attitude, or of how we look at life. My wife and I once stayed for a few days in a hotel in downtown Lisbon, Portugal. When we were first shown the room we did not like it. We looked out the front windows onto a busy thoroughfare. It was heavy with traffic -- people, cars, trucks, and so forth. We were afraid that at night the thoroughfare would be bright with the lights of the street and the cars, which would require drawing together the curtains and drapes, shutting out the fresh air.
