The Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team once had two terrific hitters who played for them. They were brothers: Paul and Lloyd Waner. Paul was the superior hitter of the two. He was nicknamed "Big Poison." Lloyd was known as "Little Poison."
The St. Louis Cardinals baseball team once had an outstanding brother combination, too. They happened to be pitchers: Dizzy Dean and his brother Paul. Once again, one brother overshadowed the other. The flamboyant Dizzy Dean, in talking to reporters, always spoke about "Me and Paul."
