Recently we had occasion to visit a company which makes equipment for the paper and pulp industry. The equipment they make is massive and, walking along the foundry floor, I saw much of it in pieces. I recall one piece of pipe that was about four feet in diameter. The finishing touches were yet to be applied to this pipe and sitting there unused it looked barren, cold, and dislocated. There are times when you and I feel that way in our ministries - barren, cold, and dislocated, cut off from God and disconnected to one another. But that's only half the story.
