Remember the Ten Boom...

Remember the Ten Boom family in the Netherlands who secretly hid Jews in their home during World War II? Finally their secret was out, and the father and the two sisters were taken to a concentration camp. Miraculously, Corrie survived. She often told her story, sharing her faith and her experiences.
One evening, as she was speaking in a church, she looked over the congregation and her eyes fell on a familiar face. She knew in an instant that it was the man who had stood at the door of the processing center when she entered the camp that awful day. Now what was she to do? Could she manage to greet him?
As he came toward her, she reached out her hand. She breathed a silent prayer asking God to help her. She said: "The most incredible thing happened. From my shoulder along my arm, through my hand, a current seemed to pass, while into my heart sprang a love for this man. I discovered that it is not in our forgiveness any more than in our goodness that the world's healing hinges, but on God's forgiveness and God's goodness."
The Bible tells us that "we have been forgiven and made clean."
