This story must be told. The church I am presently serving is located almost directly across the street from one of the South's big-time horseracing tracks. High rollers take up residence in our city for the duration of the season to join locals, inter and intrastate commuters at the betting windows.

Before I assumed this particular pastorate, the church had annually leased it's large parking lot to enterprising individuals to accommodate race goers. The financial return on the lease was considerable.
