Susie enjoyed being in the kindergarten class very much. Even though she was only five years old, the class sessions were very meaningful to her. She especially liked the large picture of Christ and the Children which hung on the wall near her table. As it depicted Jesus sitting in the midst of some small children, it reminded her of his love for her.

The minister came to the classroom one Sunday to visit. He sat on one of the small chairs, and lifted one of the children onto his knee. The others gathered round as he told them them a story.
