There were not many passengers...

There were not many passengers on that flight to Pittsburgh. So before the plane taxied to the runway, the pilot's voice came over the public-address system saying; "Since we're not crowded today, feel free to sit anywhere. However, we would request that you sit by the windows during takeoff so that when we pass by the competition, they will think that we have a full flight." James reminds us that we are not merely to give an outward appearance with regard to our faith. We are to purify both our outer deeds and our inner intentions.
