Trying to get some spirit...

Trying to get some spirit into his church, a minister organized an old-time revival. With the help of some friends he arranged live music, a guest speaker, and even managed to get the town to allow him to set up a huge tent in the park. Signs went up all over town and invitations were mailed out. But on the night of the revival only a few people came.
Embarrassed by the poor turnout and concerned about the high costs involved, several members suggested cutting the church's losses by canceling the remaining days of the revival. Hearing their concerns the minister said, "We can't give up, we have to keep going or die trying. We've done our part, let's have faith and wait for the Lord to do his."
The next night 30 people came, and the next night they had 35 people attend. Each night the attendance rose until the last night of the revival they had over 70 people in attendance. On the final night, 11 individuals and 2 whole families came to the Lord. One man who received Christ that night said, "I wasn't going to come, but something kept pulling me here. I tried to fight it, but each night you were here it just got stronger."
