The University of Minnesota in Minneapolis has, for many years, been studying what human traits are inherited and what can be attributed to environmental forces by studying sets of twins that were raised in separate households. To do this, they often resorted to adoption records of orphaned twins, finding siblings who had no idea they were part of a set of twins. The results have been fascinating, almost to the point of incredibility.
