When God surrounds us and awakens us to the fact that we are Christian, we are surprised. We are still the same person; Roger, Shirley, Gerald, or Lil. But there is a newness that makes all the difference.

When our last child left the nest, we looked at apartments and condominiums and thought of selling our big, old house. Following this search for a new home, we found we loved our comfortable old house after all. It was the place, but we saw it with “new eyes.”
