Walking by faith is such...
Illustration
Walking by faith is such a good idea.
Faith is better than feeling. Feelings are too mercurial. Their inconsistency keeps changing the rules. Feelings are capricious and can't always be counted on. They are too much like thermometers and not enough like thermostats.
Faith is better than facts. Facts build a fence around a particular body of knowledge and nothing else is possible. And facts can be twisted, taken out of context for a pretext, mixed creatively, but deceitfully, as misinformation.
Faith is better than formulas. Formulas have no flexibility. They have no contingency plan. They can't create on the stop. No gear changes to suit the difference in the road.
And faith is so practical. It enables us to shove off from the shore even when we don't have the gear to get to the other side.
