Pentecost is celebrated fifty days after Easter, or the seventh Sunday of Easter. It sometimes comes as early as Mother's Day or as late as Father's Day, but more often is closer to Memorial Sunday. Because of these other holidays, Pentecost is often forgotten, or simply observed with a ho-hum attitude of being "just another Sunday."
