Call To Worship
When a parent says, "You are my child," it makes little difference whether that child is a birth-child, an adopted child, a foster child, or a neighbor child. The messages come through that the child is loved and the nurturer has hope for that child's future. From love, hope is born. As children of God, we are loved by God. God has hope for our future.
Collect
Like those in the youth of their lives, we come to you, O God, with a young hope and a new faith still to mature in the reflection of your love. Through the promise of Easter, we walk with you. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
In the midst of the complexities and ambiguities of life, we glimpse evidence of your care, O sustaining Creator. Help us to keep open the eyes of our hearts so we might keep a healthy balance between what is reality and what we hope for. In the strength of your care. Amen.
