THE SONG AND THE STORY
Churches tell stories of God and his people. They are repositories of the history of God's relationship to those who, for centuries in some instances, have met to hear the Word, been renewed by Christ through the Holy Spirit, and have sung their songs of praise in response to God's goodness and grace. They tell of God's faithfulness and forgiveness - testify to his continual patience with humanity - in the face of price and perfidy.
