L: We call upon the God of love to be present in our worship. Let us open our hearts to receive his love. Let us respond to that love with our praise and adoration.
C: We give to our loving Lord the blessing and honor he deserves. Amen.

L: Lord Jesus, we come before you confessing that we have not loved you with our whole hearts nor have we loved our neighbors as ourselves.
C: Forgive us for withholding our love, All Caring God.
L: Lord Jesus, we return to you all we have knowing that everything we are and possess are signs of your gracious love.
C: Forgive us for boasting in ourselves and our possessions, Great Benefactor.

A Thank You For Love
Y: As young people, blessed by God, to share that love with family and friends, we take time today to say ''thanks'' to all those women who make the lives of others special by their love and care.
C: We thank God and you for the gift of love.
Y: The Lord God made a companion for man and a mother for humankind. One side of God's love is seen for us in mothers.
C: We thank God for his creation and gift of love found in mothers.
Y: Women make houses more than structures that house bodies. Families need homes as places of refuge and love.
C: We thank mothers for filling our homes with their love and their presence.
Y: Memories of happy times bring smiles to our faces.
C: We thank God and mothers for the gift of laughter and joy.
Y: In times of sadness and disappointment, we are comforted by loving arms.
C: We thank God for the shelter of a mother's understanding hug.
