A member of the Episcopal Church approached her priest and said, "Father, my dog died this morning and I want to know if you think it is all right to have a funeral for him. He was just like a member of my family." The priest, somewhat taken aback by this strange request, said, "Yes, I suppose it would be appropriate." The grieving woman replied, "Father, who do I get to have the funeral?" Not at all pleased with the thought of having a funeral for a dog, the priest answered, "I have a very busy day tomorrow. Try the Baptist minister.
