Production Notes
The four biblical characters, King David, Elizabeth, the Innkeeper, and Mary, may either be played by teenagers or adults. They may be in full costume and speak from the front of the sanctuary, or they may be voices out of the darkness. While the monologues need not be memorized, the readers should be familiar enough with the lines to have eye contact with the congregation if they are presented as characters in full costume.
The sermon should be no longer than twelve minutes.
The production time is about 55 minutes.
