Introduction
Narrator: I appreciate the opportunity to speak with you this morning. I am Maximus Minimus, a former Roman soldier who served in the Palestine province. I grew up near Rome and was glad to serve my emperor. When I was given the opportunity to travel with the army I was eager to engage in this venture. I was sent to the province of Palestine, located on the eastern shore of the Mediterranean. There I was assigned to Pontius Pilate, the governor of the province.
