Mother looked up from packing the picnic basket and said, "Yesterday the weather woman said, 'A sunny day.' I'm sorry, Brad."
"Maybe it will stop and we can still go to the beach," Brad said, hopefully, as Mother suggested they turn on the weather station and listen: "A new front has entered the area bringing cooler weather and rain. The rain will continue throughout the day."
