All kinds of things are happening in our big world. If we
look in the newspaper we can read about wars where people are
killing one another. We can read about earthquakes and diseases
and accidents. There is a lot of bad news in the newspapers.
What do you think about all the bad things that we can read about
in today's newspaper? (Let them answer.) It's not very much fun
to read about all these bad things.
But we really shouldn't be too surprised at all the bad
