Object:
A ripe vegetable or fruit (preferably picked from a local
garden)
I brought this (fruit or vegetable) so that I might ask you a
question. Can you tell me what would have happened if I had not
picked this (fruit/vegetable)? (Let them answer.) When it's time
for the (fruit/vegetable) to be harvested, it must be picked --
otherwise it will be no good for anyone. But if it is picked and
used at the right time, then it provides good food for us to eat.
