Good morning! I brought with me a picture today. Can any of
you tell me what this is? (Show the picture and let them answer.)
Yes, that's a parrot. Now parrots are unusual birds because they
can do something that very few animals can do. What is it that
parrots do that other animals can't do? (Let them answer.) Yes,
parrots can talk. They can say human words.
Now, if you were out in the jungle of Central America and
you saw a wild parrot, what would you expect that parrot to say?
