Good morning, boys and girls. In some parts of the country it is getting
cold enough to have a fire in a fireplace. How many of you have a
fireplace? (Wait for show of hands.) Do you like to keep warm in front of a
fire? (Let them respond.) How many of you like to cook hot dogs and roast
marshmallows over a fire? (Let them respond.) In some parts of the
country in the fall there is usually a hayride.
