2-inch white pom-pom
3/4-inch white pom-pom
1/2-inch black pom-pom (or pink for a black sheep)
2 black seed beads
Black felt scraps for ears (or white for a black sheep)
Black pipe cleaner (or white for a black sheep)
1/4-inch red ribbon (about 4 inches long)
1 small bell
Scissors
Glue
Instructions
We are the sheep in Jesus' flock and he is our shepherd. Jesus takes good care of us and we know him and he knows us. Help children make a sheep as a reminder that they belong to the Good Shepherd.
Glue 3/4-inch white pom-pom (head) to the 2-inch white pom-pom (body).
Cut two 2-inch sections of black pipe cleaner. Bend each into a letter U. These are the legs. Glue the center of the U onto the center of the 2-inch pom-pom, one towards the head and the other towards the tail.
Glue 1/2-inch black pom-pom (nose) onto the front of the head.
Cut small leaf-shaped ears from black felt and glue on sides of head.
Glue black seed beads on head for eyes.
Thread small bell on red ribbon. Tie ribbon around the neck of the sheep, placing the bell at the throat area.
