Abram was promised a great nation. He could not have guessed who might show up, centuries later, in his family tree. Britain's Princess Margaret was once similarly surprised. While attending a dinner given in her honor during a visit to San Francisco, she was introduced to Barnaby Conrad. "You have a very English name," she observed. "Are you English?"
