An advocate with authority is what we need most desperately.
A Danish king once modeled this for hard-pressed commoners in his country. During the Nazi occupation, King Christian X lived up to his name by confronting evil directly. One day he observed the red, white, and black swastika flag flying over a Danish public building. Furious, he summoned the German commandant. "Remove it," he demanded. "The flag stays where it is," was the reply.
