The African American poet Dunbar penned these words: "Out of the hell and dawn of it all cometh good." Today, Friday, is the night, the hell of it all, when Jesus' life is extinguished like a candle being snuffed out. But, the dawn is coming on Sunday, a new light shining. It will be known as Easter and it will be good -- oh, so good! Such that even as we look back on this horrible day of death, we will learn to call it good also.
