After lunch we decided to go to the beach. When we got there, we were turned away because the parking lot was full. As we were driving off, we noticed a less crowded beach and decided to give it a try. It provided us with a great afternoon. We observed two children, a boy and a girl, playing in the sand. They were building a sand castle. Just when they had nearly finished their project, a big wave came along and knocked it down, reducing it to a heap of wet sand. I thought the children would be devastated.
