Andrew was an important, but generally overlooked disciple. Andrew was fortunate to be a "people person." For almost three decades we have heard that "people who need people are the luckiest people in the world." Andrew was such a person. Andrew, a follower of John the Baptist, brought his brother, Simon, to Jesus. He alone among the 12 knew there was a boy with a little food. It was Andrew in John 12 who, rather than rebuffing Greeks, told Jesus of their presence.
