Back in the days when high school frosh week meant seniors got to freely lord it over the
freshmen, Trish was given a task. Trish, who was somewhat of a junior high phenom in
mathematics, was instructed to go to a sixth-grade student and have that student "teach"
her the multiplication tables up to twelve. The sixth-grade student, knowing that Trish
was a whiz at math, seeing her pictures in their school trophy cases holding math awards,
initially refused. His comment, much like John the Baptist's was, "I can't teach you
anything.
