Baptism Pictures
Commentary
In some Christian traditions the expectation is that babies should be baptized. In other Christian traditions that practice is nearly unthinkable, for the emphasis is on believer baptism. The former resist the rebaptism of an adult who had been baptized as an infant, while the latter insist on it. Both approaches find sound footing in scripture and theology. And both kinds of traditions are taking baptism seriously, though admittedly with the accent on different syllables.
