Before being sent into battle, one of the most basic things that soldiers are taught is how to identify the enemy. They are taught what the enemy looks like and what their allies look like, so that on the battlefield there is no question about who is friend and who is foe. Many people look at Jesus as being their enemy. But in truth, he is their biggest ally.
