Billy Soya lived with his grandparents two doors down the street from our place when we were in grade school, and Billy's grown-up Aunt Ruby was about to be married. Billy heard dozens of conversations about the wedding plans.
The ceremony would be at the Methodist Church down town; the best man would be an uncle of the groom; the maid of honor would be the bride's older sister Lilian; the head usher would be cousin Arthur. And so it went, on and on.
