Emphasis Preaching Journal

Bobby was invited to accompany a schoolmate and his friend's father to a major league ball game. Since this would be the first time Bobby ever went someplace like this away from his own family, Bobby's father made quite a point of emphasizing that Bobby should thank the other boy's father for taking him on such a special outing.

When Bobby returned, he was bubbling over with excitement about the experience: where they sat, what they had to eat, the score of the game, and each exciting play. Finally, his father asked:

"And did you remember to thank Mr. Jones?"
