"Brenda" is one of those people with infectious enthusiasm for life. She is recently retired and volunteers in her church and in the community. One day, as she went about her tasks, the conversation turned to parents. Someone asked if her parents were still living. There unfolded an incredible story of pain. Her mother died within days of her birth. Within three months a young aunt also died and then a child was stillborn. "Of course, everyone thought that there was a terrible sin in our family, for which we were severely punished.
