Emphasis Preaching Journal

A casual reading of the book of Acts suggests that there were but a handful of very prominent preachers in the early Christian movement. However, a more careful reading reveals the fact that occasionally Paul and others arrived in towns and villages where Christian congregations were already in existence. Humble and obscure, now unnamed people had given their witness. From their witness and preaching the Christian movement emerged.
