A certain stranger went from his home one Sunday to attend worship with a certain congregation. He decided to make the effort and the trip across town because he had received some good vibrations about the people of the congregation. Upon arrival, however, he fell upon some seemingly insensitive people. No one greeted him with a friendly smile and word. No one reached out to him. He had to pick up his own bulletin and find his own pew. And by then, he wished that he had stayed in bed, that he hadn't ventured out at all.
