Almost no Christian preachers set themselves up as people with license to change the basic thrust of biblical witness. That means that they are not likely to do away with God by taking away the divine initiative in creating and making new creations, by grace, of the people. Nor do they want to do away with humans by making them into automatons in the face of a God who has everything figured out and leaves nothing to them.
